TV, film, theater, music–Danny Aiello does it all. Most notably, he was nominated for an Academy Award for his work in Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing.” Other film credits include: “Moonstruck,” “The Godfather Part 2,” and “The Purple Rose of Cairo.” Aiello has also appeared in several TV movies and shows and well as using his voice on the Broadway stage. He’s launched a second career singling–a passion he’s had for many years.
“Bridges” and “My Christmas Song for You” are his two most recent albums. Â…And this Friday, September 28, he will be performing with his band who affectionately calls Joe Geary & the Guys. Showtimes are 7:30pm and 9:30pm at the Iridium Jazz Club located at 1650 Broadway in Manhattan.
