WHAT: Robert Cray will be eternally cool for being an on-screen band member of Otis Day & the Knights in the classic 1978 comedy “Animal House.” Of course, Cray’s real-life career has earned him a reputation as one of the masters of contemporary blues and R&B. On his latest album, “For Nothin’ but Love,” Cray offers nine original songs about growing older and fading relationships as well as a cover of Bobby Parker’s 1958 song, “Blues Get Off My Shoulder.”
