Run-DMC’s DMC is among the guest artists set to appear

Michelle Obama, wife of US President Barack Obama, is to head a hip-hop album aimed at improving America’s health.

Though the First Lady won’t sing or rap herself according to Politico, she will appear in ten music videos which will be distributed to US schools.

The 19-track album, due for release in September, instead features artists including Darryl ‘DMC’ McDaniels of Run-DMC (pictured), Doug E Fresh, Jordin Sparks, Ashanti, plus Blink-182?s Travis Barker and Matisyahu, who appear as Salad Bar. Track titles include ‘U R What You Eat’, ‘Get Up Sit Up’ and ‘Veggie Luv’.

The track ‘Everybody’ (ft. Jordin Sparks, Doug E Fresh, Ryan Beatty, Artie Green, Dr Oz and the Hip-Hop Doc) is available to download now from the official website.
