How often can you say you’ve done karaoke with music’s biggest, most legendary players? Attendees at Super Jam Dance Party can officially check that note off their bucket lists. Everyone from Chance The Rapper to Rhiannon Giddens to SZA to Jack Antonoff to DMC to Metallica’s bassist Rob Trujillo was in the building to take part in throwback karaoke.

The Bonnaroo staple showcase is a jam session of sorts, where a live band and backup singers stay the same as different musicians rotate the mic. Bonnaroovians were in for quite the treat when DMC—legally known as Darryl McDaniels and Rev Run’s counterpart in Run DMC—took the stage to perform the group’s hits “It’s Tricky,” “Peter Piper” and “Walk This Way” alongside Jurassic 5’s Chali 2na. The crowd roared in excitement as DMC moved grandly, danced often and lifted his shirt up for the fans, commanding the stage.
