The Atlanta Braves are bringing back old-school hip-hop as well as classic rock and country for the Braves Summer Concert Series.

Run-D.M.C., hip-hop pioneers and members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will perform at Turner Field after the June 1 game against the Washington Nationals. This marks the group’s first performance in Atlanta since 2001. While Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell was shot and killed in Queens more than a decade ago, Joseph “Run” Simmons and Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels have reunited several times over the past few years.
