Blues greats Robert Cray and Buddy Guy will play an outdoor show at Covelli Centre at 6 p.m. June 25 as part of the city of Youngstown’s Blues Fest.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at all Ticketmaster outlets and locations; online at ticketmaster.com, at the Covelli Centre box office; and by phone at 800-745-3000. Gold Circle seats are $50 and general admission tickets are $25 (additional fees may apply). Concertgoers can bring their own lawn chairs.

Cray’s latest release, “This Time,” arrives at a vital juncture in the musician’s career, marked by creative renewal. The album is a follow-up to his “Live From Across the Pond” CD, and features the work of Richard Cousins, who was with Cray’s band in its early days.

Guy, 72, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, is also a chief guitar influence to rock titans such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughan. A living link to Chicago’s halcyon days of electric blues, he has five Grammy Awards. Guy’s latest album is “Skin Deep.”
