Singer/songwriter Rebecca Pidgeon also is an actress of considerable accomplishment

One night a few weeks ago the House of Blues was jammed with fans of the blues singer/songwriter/guitarist Keb’ Mo’. They were a lively crowd, predominantly white (Keb’ Mo’ is African-American), drinking and talking loudly as the opening act walked onstage.

In this crowd were a small number of people there to see and hear the opening act, a singer/songwriter named Rebecca Pidgeon, who also is an actress of considerable accomplishment, the mother of two teenagers and the wife of the greatest playwright to ever call Chicago home, David Mamet.
